Triton Digital Releases The Australian Podcast Ranker For November 2022



Triton Digital, the global technology and services leader to the digital audio, podcast, and broadcast radio industries, announced today the release of the latest Australian Podcast Ranker. The Ranker provides insight into the Top 150 Podcast as well as the Top 150 Australian-Made Podcasts, the Top Publishers in Australia, and the Top Sales Representatives in Australia from 1 November through 30 November 2022, as measured by Triton’s Podcast Metrics measurement service. The month of November had 71.6M downloads.

The Top Podcast Ranker and Top 150 (Australian-Made) Ranker are ranked by monthly listeners, in accordance with the latest IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.

Yet again, the top three publishers were ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia at #1 LiSTNR (SCA) at #2 and Audioboom at #3.

This month, we also introduced a new publisher, an Australian women’s media company, Mamamia who is known for shows such as No Filter, CANCELLED, The Quicky, and more.

For this reporting period, the top three podcasts for both the Top Podcast Ranker and the Top 150 (Australian-Made) Ranker included Hamish & Andy (LiSTNER (SCA)) climbing to #1, Casefile True Crime (Audioboom) at #2, and Mamamia Out Loud (Mamamia) at #3.

The Top Podcast Ranker also had several other debuts from True Crime Conversation (Mamamia), The Confession (Nine Publishing), The Children in the Pictures (LiSTNER (SCA)), Concealed with Art Simone (ARN/iHeartMedia), and more.

For the top 150 (Australian-Made) Ranker, new podcasts included The Spill (Mamamia), The Stick Up with Russell Manser (DM Podcasts), The Fin (Nine Publishing), The Dive (Equity Mates Media), and more.

Participating publishers in the Australian Ranker include Audioboom, ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia, DM Podcasts, Equity Mates Media, LiSTNR (SCA), Mamamia, Motorsport Podcast Network, News Corp Australia, Nine, NOVA Entertainment, Podshape, Schwartz Media, Special Broadcasting Service, Sports Entertainment Network (SEN), Stitcher, Studio 71, The Chaser, West Australian Newspapers, and Wondery.
