Podertainment Magazine, an e-periodical focused on podcasters and podcasting, has released its second issue. The magazine is now available for download thru the iTunes Store. Issues can be purchased individually or as part of a subscription.
The latest issue covers a wide range of topics:
- * How to create a podcast recording studio with iOS.
- * Patreon crowdrunding for podcasters.
- * Improving your podcast’s episode tittles.
- * How to use a Feedburner redirect without using the Feedburner website.
- * Rethinking conventional wisdom about podcasting.

Since Podertainment is an e-magazine, it can contain media beyond just simple text and pictures. As such, this issue also comes with two videos. The first video was filmed at New Media Expo earlier this year. It features Rob Walch of podCast411 demonstrating how to podcast using only an iOS device. The second video is an exclusive interview with bestselling author Scott Sigler. Sigler’s rise to prominence began in 2005 when he released his first novel as a free podcast.
Podertainment Magazine is published by Gary Leland. Many podcasters will remember Gary as the founder of Podcast Pickle. The magazine is currently staffed by a team of podcasting veterans including (but not limited to) David Jackson, Todd Cochrane (both contributors to Podcaster News as well) Daniel J. Lewis, Rob Greenlee, Jeffrey Powers, Dan Franks, Jessica Kupferman, Brian Ibbott, Rob Walch, and Kien Tran. The first Podertainment issue was officially released In March/2014. New issues are produced on a monthly basis and the magazine is considering contributions from new writers.
