Podcast Radio and Curiouscast Announce New Content Partnership

Podcast Radio in the UK, together with Corus Entertainment’s Curiouscast podcast network, announced an exciting new content partnership.

“Curiouscast produces some fantastic high-quality podcasts and we’re excited to provide them with a showcase and an opportunity for UK radio listeners to hear their content,” said Podcast Radio’s CEO Gerry Edwards.

Among the podcasts to be featured on the station are the award-winning true crime podcasts Crime Beat and Dark Poutine, music documentary podcast The Ongoing History of New Music, and ASMR sleep podcast offering bedtime stories for grownups, Nothing Much Happens.

“We are thrilled with the opportunity to introduce UK audiences to brand new stories and voices through our exciting lineup of Curiouscast podcasts,” said Chris “Dunner” Duncombe, Director of Streaming and Podcasting, Corus Entertainment.

The award-wining Curiouscast Podcast Network launched in 2018 and is home to internationally recognized brands with diverse audio storytelling, including the #1 Canadian-produced music podcast, The Ongoing History of New Music; Edward R Murrow International Podcast Award Winner and the ‘Most Popular New Show’ in Apple Podcasts Canada’s ‘Best of 2019’ list, Crime Beat; 2020 Canadian Podcast Winners Dark Poutine, History of the 90’s and Super Awesome Science Show; plus ASMR sleep podcast Nothing Much Happens, investigative podcast Nighttime and many more.

The partnership will see sample episodes of Curiouscast’s top podcasts now be played on the Podcast Radio UK station, which launched in February and broadcasts on DAB digital radio in London, Surrey, and Manchester and Glasgow.
