This website was founded by Todd Cochrane in March 2014.
Podcaster News is a unique view into the podcasting industry. After Todd’s passing in September 2025, Podnews offered to host and maintain this website, archiving its content unchanged to ensure that it remains a permanent record of this period of podcasting.
Podnews has restored much of the classic look of Podcaster News, and published all the content, along with the article thumbnail images. We’re grateful to the RawVoice and Blubrry family for trusting us with this part of podcasting’s legacy.
The original team and past contributors to this website are Shawn Thorpe, Jen Thorpe, Dave Jackson, Jackson Rogers, Jeff Brown, Phil Olson, Scott Hertzog, Mike Dell and, of course, the much-missed Todd Cochrane.
