IsItGood is an app that was designed to make podcasts social. The app will make it easy for people to find new podcasts to listen to and share what you are listening to with friends.

IsItGood is expected to launch this fall. Those who want to get notified when it is released can get on the invite list by putting your full name and email address on the IsItGood website. The app is currently in invite-only beta.

You can share your favorite podcasts to Twitter and Facebook with just a couple taps, and engage directly with the podcasters to let them know what content you enjoy. As you listen to more podcasts, the IsItGood unique algorithm learns your taste over time. As you use the app, you will get recommendations for new podcasts and specific episodes just for you.

Mark McTamney is the founder of IsItGood app. Baltimore Business Journal reported that Mark McTamney worked to build up his platform as a cohort member of Accelerate Baltimore, a four-month accelerator program hosted by Emerging Technology Centers. The program annually awards a handful of young companies $25,000 in seed funding.

At the end of the cohort session, a panel of judges selects one company to receive an additional $100,000 funding award. This year, IsItGood was selected.

According to the Baltimore Business Journal, Mark McTamney has plans to use the money to hire a full time developer and to continue building out features on the IsItGood app.
