Are you a podcaster who lives in Florida? You might want to get involved with the Orlando Podcasters group. They have several meetups a year where they talk about podcasting, podcasting technology, setups, software, services, techniques, tips and tricks.

The Orlando Podcasters meetups are for people who are podcasters and who want to meet other podcasters from their area. The meetups are also a good place to learn more about podcasting. There is an official website, but it appears that at least some of the organizing and information about each meetup is posted on their Facebook page. If you don’t use Facebook, you may have difficulty getting involved.

One upcoming Orlando Podcaster meetup will take place on Thursday, February 18, 2016. It will be at 460 E. New England Ave. Winter Park, Florida. It is called “Talk About Podcasting – #CFPod”. This one is the Central Florida Podcasters monthly meetup and RSVP is required. If you cannot attend this meetup, don’t worry. It repeats on the third Thursday of every month.

There will also be Monthly Orlando Podcasters Meetup that will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2016. It will take place at the Tech Center in Melrose Center Orlando Public Library, at 101 East Central Blvd., in Orlando, Florida. RSVP is required if you want to attend. There appears to be a discussion thread on Facebook that provides more details. If you cannot attend this particular meetup, you might be able to go to another one. This meetup repeats on the first Saturday of every month.
