Outlier Podfest Festival Columbus has been Canceled

Ever Gonzalez, founder of OutlierHQ, a media and news company, posted on Medium that Outlier Podcast Festival Columbus has been cancelled. This decision was made as a precaution for the wellbeing of their podcast community.

We’re closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation as well as the updates issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). OutlierHQ is taking preventative measures to ensure the safety of our attendees.

There is no indication that Outlier Podcast Festival Columbus will be postponed to a later date. OutlierHQ celebrates indie podcasters all year and plan to meet again soon at future festivals. Anyone who has already purchased a ticket for the Columbus event will receive a full refund.

The good news is that OutlierHQ is creating a virtual podcast summit that can be accessed from home. It includes keynotes, panels, and workshops from some of today’s top podcasting experts. It will be OutlierHQ’s first ever virtual podcast summit.

Those who attend the virtual conference, from the comfort of their own home, will be able to participate. They will have the opportunity to question the experts during panel discussions, listen in during live podcasts, and join the conversation with other media disrupters.
