The Podcast Maker Weekend is a series of workshops and discussions targeted at podcast makers. London Podcast Festival will take place on September 13-17, 2017. The Podcast Maker Weekend will run on September 16-17, 2017. Here is a look at some of the Sessions that are part of the Podcast Maker Weekend:

Cathy FitzGerald knows how she hooks her listeners: head, heart, guts, and soul. In this session, she offers practical tips on creating an intense tangible world through scripting, structure and surprise.
- Editing and Post Production
Prix Europa Nominee Andy Goddard (Wooden Overcoats, Inside Donald Trump) will be giving an introductory workshop on the elusive art of editing.
- Networks and Representation Plus Pitch-a-Thon
A panel of guests from three of the most exciting networks in podcasting in the UK and US (ShoutOut, Maximum Fun, and Radiotopia) talk about building their networks, nurturing new talent, and giving platforms to voices under-represented in mainstream media – followed by the opportunity to pitch your show idea to the panel and receive feedback from three experienced network and show-runners.
